Midway Elementary School, preschool through 5th grade, is participating in an exciting Book Blast event! Our goal is to put as many books as possible into the hands of our students, with a goal of 10 books for every student. ❤️📖

Families are reaching out to friends and family to help support their child’s Book Blast goal—but anyone can donate! Your donation can help ensure that ALL of our students have the opportunity to reach the goal and build their own home library.

What an amazing night honoring a true Midway legend! ❤️🖤 The field was officially dedicated to our legendary coach, Dennis Horner, and it was incredible to see so many former players, students, families, and friends come out to celebrate his legacy. So many stories were shared about past games throughout Coach Horner’s incredible coaching career. And, of course, Coach knew the stats, the plays, the almost-wins, and the victories! 🏈 Coach Horner, you have made a lasting impact on so many lives, and last night, we celebrated and honored you for all you have given to Midway. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a special and memorable night. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a coach who has meant so much to our school and community. 🧪🐸 Saving Fred! 🐸🧪 Our 4th graders took on their annual Saving Fred STEM Activity! Students had to use teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking to figure out how to save Fred from a tricky situation. There was lots of creativity, collaboration, and perseverance happening in the classroom!
