Mrs. Berry’s preschoolers and Mrs. Osowski’s kindergartners had an exciting day of learning and exploring on their field trip to Minnkota Power Cooperative and the University of North Dakota Police Department!
Students had the opportunity to learn about electricity, safety, and the important work that keeps our communities running smoothly. At the UND Police Station, they explored police vehicles, learned about safety, and met officers who help protect and serve the community every day.

Ms. Hegstrom has been teaching a bike unit to our preschoolers, and it’s amazing to see how well they can balance on their bikes! 🚲 Their confidence and skills are growing every day—way to go!
Mrs. Berry and Mrs. Osowski hosted a wonderful Kindergarten Roundup for our future kindergarteners and their parents! 🎒 It was a great opportunity to meet, explore, and get excited for the year ahead.
Mrs. Osowski’s kindergarteners teamed up with the high school Art class to create some amazing artwork! 🎨 It was a great collaboration filled with creativity, teamwork, and lots of smiles.
Mrs. Osowski’s kindergarteners enjoyed some fresh air and fun! ☀️ They practiced writing with sidewalk chalk and had a blast blowing bubbles. 🫧
Mrs. Osowski’s kindergarteners spread a little May Day cheer! 🌸 They had so much fun creating May Day baskets and delivering them to brighten someone’s day.
Today we recognize the superheroes of Midway—our amazing kitchen staff! 🦸♀️ Without them, our bellies would not be full. They start early each day to prepare delicious meals and make sure our students have healthy choices.
Every day, they serve at least 400 meals with care and dedication. Thank you, Kassia, Amanda, and Cindy, for all you do to keep our students and staff fueled with warm, nutritious meals. We appreciate you! ❤️
