To celebrate the Midway Minto Mustangs heading to the State Tournament tomorrow, we will ALL be wearing Mustang gear or Mustang colors! We are stronger together and this accomplishment is awesome!! Lets go!!

It’s a busy and exciting week ahead! 🎉 Join us tomorrow for Family Bingo Night from 5:00–6:30 PM—there will be lots of great prizes! PTO will be serving a supper with a free will offering, with proceeds going toward new playground equipment. Then head to Minto Public School for a pep rally at 7 pm to cheer on our Mustang Boys! 🏀 Wednesday is the final day of the Kids Heart Challenge—so far, we’ve raised an amazing $1,028! ❤️ On Thursday, our Mustang Boys take the court at the State Class B Tournament—let’s show our support and cheer them on! LET’S GO! ❤️🖤 Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL on Friday or Monday!

Due to the upgrade to a Blizzard Warning and the uncertainty of its potential impact, Midway Public School will dismiss at 1:30 PM today.

The ESP hand knitters finished their blankets. They did an amazing job! Thank you to Linda for teaching us how to knit!

PTO is raffling off 2 St. Patty's Day buckets filled with treats. 1 bucket is for the elementary and 1 is for the ms/hs. Tickets are $1 a piece. Winners will be drawn on March 17!

Midway Elementary made posters and cheered on the Mustangs. Way to go boys!

Last week, Mrs. Amundson’s 1st graders celebrated Dr. Suess Week. They read Dr. Suess and other books in the dark with flashlights.

Last week, Mrs. Berry’s preschoolers celebrated Dr. Suess Week participating in a variety of activities.

We wrapped up our Winter Olympics Reading Challenge, and what an incredible run it was! 📚🥇 Students earned medals for reading minutes and completing a variety of activities throughout the month. The excitement, dedication, and love for books were on full display! The big prize? A pizza party for the class with the highest participation percentage… and the gold medal goes to Ms. Osowski’s 2nd grade class! 🍕🏆 They had the highest percentage of participation—way to go, readers! We are so proud of all of our students for putting in the time to read! Keep turning those pages!
