Our preschoolers had fun making edible trees! 🌲 They loved creating (and eating!) their tasty treats while learning and having fun together. A special thank you to PTO for helping with this project.

Here are more pictures of one of the last things we did before Christmas break was Miracle of Books. This was Mia and Shay’s NHS project. Our high school students visited the elementary, surprised each student with a wrapped book, and spent time reading together. It was a special day that spread joy, built connections, and shared the love of reading across our school.

Happy Thanksgiving! What an incredible Week of Giving! Our NHS students — Miley, Sadie, and Jersey — put together 10 turkey baskets packed with all the fixings. Our FCCLA crew also stepped up in a big way, raising nearly $1,500 for Sox For Kids. We’re excited to announce the winners of the Disguise a Turkey Contest and the Change War soon — stay tuned! Thank you to everyone who donated money, food, and time to make this week such a success. Our community truly shines! 🦃💛

4th and 5th grade had an awesome day of learning and exploring! We kicked things off with a visit to the UND Library, enjoyed a fun lunch at Applebee’s, and wrapped up our adventure with a stop at the Sheriff’s Department. Such a great day filled with learning, laughs, and new experiences! 🚓📚🍎

More pictures! Midway’s 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls’ and boys’ basketball teams had an awesome night! We cheered on the UND Fighting Hawks Women’s Basketball Team, and the highlight of the night was watching our 5th and 6th graders scrimmage at halftime—such a cool experience for our kids! Before the game, we stopped at Pizza Ranch for a great meal and some arcade fun. A huge thank-you to Mini Monarchs for the generous donation that made this unforgettable opportunity possible for our future ballers! 🏀💚
