Day One of The Week of Giving was a success. Four kids came away victorious with their guessing jars and many dressed up in pajamas. We have raised over $500 for Sox For Kids. 4th grade is in the lead in both weight and dollar amount for the Change Wars.
If you haven’t paid for the weeks activities you can still do that. (See the flyer for more info)
Tomorrow we continue our week with Crazy Hair or Hat Day, schoolwide Bingo, and of course Change Wars!

Midway Public School is not currently receiving emails using the @midwayschools.com gmail account. This has been an ongoing problem and something we have been working on. We hope to get this resolved soon. Please call Midway at 701-869-2432 if you need to contact any of us.

Week of Giving November 21-23rd. Help support Sox for Kids through the Week of Giving. Last year we raised over $2000 can we beat it this year. Look at the picture for more information about the week's activities.

A teacher hears stories about how students lose their homework. This morning Gracie was walking to the bus when a large gust of wind ripped her Geometry project out of her hand and sent it tumbling down the street. The bus driver confirmed her story and we thought her project was lost forever. However, her mom drove around until she spotted it wrapped around a tree and delivered it to school. Never was there a happier Geometry student!

In early November, the Junior High Academic Team competed in Grafton. For the second year in a row, they lost on a tiebreaker question to make it into the lightning round, placing 4th out of 14 teams. They were especially successful in the math and science categories.

The senior and junior varsity academic teams competed in a competition held in Cavalier. There were a number of questions that stumped all teams at the event and correct spelling also was a factor. These teams did a good job representing Midway.

Please consider donating to our Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive.

Midway Public School is looking for interested parties to run the score clock, shot clock and take tickets for home basketball games. If you are interested, please contact Matt Rash (matt.rash@midwayschools.com) at Midway (701-869-2432).
