In ESP, our 3rd–6th graders have been busy learning how to finger knit blankets with help from our local knitting specialist, Linda 🧶
The students did a great job and had a lot of fun creating together. We’ll continue again on Wednesday!

Our ESP kids had a blast playing Giant Scrabble!
Lots of teamwork, problem-solving, and fun while building words the big way. Great job, everyone!

Congratulations to Ms. Osowski’s Student of the Week! 🎉
We’re so proud of the hard work, positive attitude, and great choices you’ve been making. Keep it up!

Our Jazz students had an awesome time participating in the Myra Jazz Festival this week!

Congrats to Karson Wolf! He placed first at the Behind the Mask welding competition and received a $1,000 dollar scholarship! This is his second year in a row placing first at a welding competition.

The 8th grade had a great time at North Valley last week!

Due to the extreme cold weather and transportation concerns, Midway Public School will not have school on Friday, January 23rd.
The decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff, particularly with regard to busing and prolonged exposure to dangerous temperatures.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize safety during these conditions. Please continue to monitor school communications for any additional updates.
Due to extreme conditions, there will be:
*NO ESP after school today. Students will ride home on their regular bus routes after school.
*Additionally, the JH, C, JV, and Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Griggs/Midkota has been rescheduled to February 17 at Minto.
*There will be NO JH boys basketball practice on January 23.
*As a reminder, tomorrow, January 23, school and busses will be 2 hours late. There will be NO morning E.S.P. or breakfast.
If we have any further updates, we will let you know. Please stay safe.

Our high school and middle school students participated in the UND math track meet yesterday. We had four students receive honorable mentions for their individual test results. Congratulations to Tucker, Tara, Miley, and Brianna!

More pictures of our great day! What a beautiful day for sledding! ❄️🛷 The kids had an absolute blast. We haven’t been able to go sledding for our reading incentive in years, so this made it extra special. Huge shoutout to the students who worked so hard to meet their reading goals, the parents who encouraged all that reading, and the staff who kept everyone safe on the hill. Thank you to the 5th graders that loaded and unloaded the sleds. And a special thank you to Turtle River State Park for always welcoming us and supporting our events. What a great day all around!

In Mrs Lehman's World Geography class, the sixth graders are studying the Abrahamic religions and had the opportunity to explore authentic Torahs, the sacred scriptures of Judaism.

Our preschoolers had fun making edible trees! 🌲 They loved creating (and eating!) their tasty treats while learning and having fun together. A special thank you to PTO for helping with this project.
