In ESP, our 3rd–6th graders have been busy learning how to finger knit blankets with help from our local knitting specialist, Linda 🧶 The students did a great job and had a lot of fun creating together. We’ll continue again on Wednesday!

Due to the extreme cold weather and transportation concerns, Midway Public School will not have school on Friday, January 23rd. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff, particularly with regard to busing and prolonged exposure to dangerous temperatures. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize safety during these conditions. Please continue to monitor school communications for any additional updates.

More pictures of our great day! What a beautiful day for sledding! ❄️🛷 The kids had an absolute blast. We haven’t been able to go sledding for our reading incentive in years, so this made it extra special. Huge shoutout to the students who worked so hard to meet their reading goals, the parents who encouraged all that reading, and the staff who kept everyone safe on the hill. Thank you to the 5th graders that loaded and unloaded the sleds. And a special thank you to Turtle River State Park for always welcoming us and supporting our events. What a great day all around!
