Holiday Dress-up Days for the next 2 weeks!

Midway School and busses will be 2 hours late tomorrow, Monday, December 9, 2024. No morning activities, practices, breakfast or morning ESP.
After consulting with Grand Forks Emergency Management Director and county officials, we have decided to release the students early today due to hazardous weather conditions, including snow, strong winds, and reduced visibility.
Early dismissal will begin at 1:45pm. Please make arrangements to ensure your child arrives home safely. Buses will operate on adjusted schedules, but delays may occur due to road conditions.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for understanding and cooperation as we navigate these challenging conditions.
Today, Wednesday, December 4th, all after school athletics and activities will be cancelled. This includes ESP. No ESP.
4th Grade Science Experiment: Copper Penny Cleaning! 🧪✨
Our 4th graders took on the challenge of cleaning dirty old pennies using six common liquids. They tested the pH of each substance to classify them as acids or bases and made predictions about which one would work best. After some hands-on experimenting, the results are in... 🥁

👏 A special shoutout to Barbara Rodriguez, Lillian Hoover, and Lily Dotson for organizing a bake sale with proceeds going to the Teruel family. They had enough donations to last 2 days of bake sales!!
Together, we've raised $1,000 for Sox for Kids, so far! Tomorrow marks the final day of this humbling and inspiring week. Let's see if we can make it to $1,500!!
