5th Grade enjoyed some Pie on National Pi Day!

A small but very smart group of students competed in the UND Math Meet on President’s Day. Aiden Flanagin, Zach Butters, Elle Brueckner, and Miley Agotness received Honorable Mention. Bravo students! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Midway has been busy competing in math meets during February and March. Here is our MathCounts team that competed in person at UND after a two year hiatus due to COVID. The day also included pizza at Pizza Ranch and a tour of the new GF water treatment plant.

Today 24 Midway middle and high schoolers competed at the Tri-College math meet at NDSU. Mrs. Zikmund is proud of everyone of her students for getting up super early to meet the bus and having great attitudes throughout the day.

Midway students say Happy Pi Day from the campus of NDSU where they are competing in the Tri-College Math Meet. Horns up! 🦬🤓

Midway's Words of the Week are back!
Fathom - come to understand
Machination - a plot or scheme
Ostracized - exclude someone or something from a society or group
How might you use these words?
